How do you build a site that people will like?
Before we even start working on your website, we sit down with you and establish who your target audience is. Once we know this, we strive to build a site that will not only meet their informational needs but also appeal to their senses. Proceeding with this strategy in mind throughout the development process is the best way to accomodate your site visitors.
What kind of website is right for me?
This is the first question that Guavabyte will help you to answer. First, we try to identify your target audience. Then we suggest a few strategies with a scope we feel is appropriate. The dialog continues until we feel confident that we are buiding a site that people visiting your site will enjoy.
If you just need minor maintenance work, like an image tweaked or a paragraph added, this can be completed in a few days. If urgent, even overnight. If you need a whole new site, the process can take a few weeks or longer, all depending on the complexity of your site. Very important is also your availability to provide content and express preferences, and not least your readiness to set aside time to work with us throughout the process.
How much do your services cost?
Guavabyte offers highly competitive rates for standard website work. Small changes are billed in 30-minute increments, with a one-hour minimum. If you need a whole new website, we can either bill on an hourly basis, or establish a base price for completion of the site. Some clients prefer a combination of both methods as they may want to introduce changes along they way that were beyond the initial scope for the project.
Do you provide website hosting?
Guavabyte offers a reliable hosting solution at a reasonable price. Our hosting is highly extensible in terms of adding advanced interactivity such as request forms, search functions, interactive blogs or dynamic databases to your website. We handle all set-up and maintenance. We will take your mind off those tasks.
Though not an offical domain name registrar (of which there are only few,) Guavabyte can help you register your domain name, and take care of all the administrative details for you.
How do people find my website?
Making sure people find your website is an ongoing process. We try to give you a head start by including standard Search Engine Optimization (SEO) features as we build your site. You will also have the option of registering with the major search engines and indexes such as Google and Yahoo. Once online, your website address should appear visibly on marketing materials and company stationary. You should also approach other sites and ask them to create links to yours. We can involve a SEO expert if your site has specific SEO requirements beyond this initial level.
Can you help me write the content?
Guavabyte can write the website copy for you or help you with revisions and offer general advice. Either way, it is important that you set aside some time to think about the message you want to convey to your audience. If you find it very hard to make the time, our professional content writing services can assist as long a you can give us some basic material to work with.
